FIUS's Infrastructure practice advises domestic and international clients on structuring, contracting and implementing infrastructure projects, as well as on the financing structures behind them.

We bring deep experience across multiple infrastructure sectors and operate as a multidisciplinary team to deliver complete, effective and tailored solutions.

Among our main areas of practice:

  • Regulatory counsel to ensure compliance with the rules of each sector involved in the project;
  • Counsel on structured project contracts, including construction contracts, EPC, EPC-M, turn-key, O&M and others;
  • Counsel on the analysis and drafting of integrated contractual models such as Alliance Contracts, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Framework Alliance Agreement (FAC-1), among others;
  • Legal and tax structuring of projects targeting accounting, tax, logistics and production efficiency;
  • Counsel on tenders for the management and operation of infrastructure assets, including authorizations, concessions, public-private partnerships (PPPs) and leases;
  • Counsel on the submission of infrastructure projects to the Public Administration, whether through Manifestation of Interest Procedures (PMI) or Unsolicited Proposals (PNS);
  • Participation in public hearings and counsel on public consultations involving the concession of infrastructure assets;
  • Counsel in arbitral proceedings, economic-financial rebalancing claims and dispute boards;
  • Analysis of infrastructure projects from an ESG compliance and compatibility standpoint;
  • Counsel on environmental licensing of infrastructure projects and on expropriations, where the concessionaire bears that responsibility;
  • Counsel on project structuring and financing.
