Founding partner of FIUS, José Luis Finocchio Junior has built the firm's trajectory from its inception, leading the structuring of complex corporate transactions for closely held companies and family groups professionalizing their governance. He has more than twenty years of experience advising on contractual and corporate matters across reorganizations, M&A, shareholders' agreements and governance frameworks.
A graduate of PUC-SP Law School (the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo) with a specialization in Business Law from FGV Direito SP, he has led holding-company structurings for economic groups in agribusiness, retail and infrastructure. His distinctive approach pairs technical rigor in drafting with a deep read of the power dynamics inside shareholder relationships.
He sits on the Corporate Law Committee of the São Paulo Bar (OAB-SP) and is a frequent speaker at corporate governance programs hosted by industry associations.
