Luna Ayres
Commercial Contracts, ESG
An associate in the Commercial Contracts and ESG practices, Luna Ayres drafts and reviews complex commercial agreements and structures ESG programs for companies seeking access to capital linked to environmental, social and governance criteria. She advises clients on meeting ESG reporting requirements imposed by domestic and international lenders, including BNDES (Brazil's national development bank) and the IFC.
A graduate of PUCRS Law School with an exchange period at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam — where she studied European Environmental Law and corporate sustainability — she has developed an integrated view of the line between voluntary commitments and binding regulatory obligations in the ESG space, a critical distinction for clients unwilling to take on greenwashing risk.
She joined FIUS in 2023 and has since supported the contractual practice with a focus on long-term supply agreements featuring sustainable-performance covenants — a model expanding rapidly among the firm's consumer-goods clients.
